Added the last 8 chapters to the story. My beta Reader wanted a mushy ending so when she finished it, she mentioned fetching a noose. I have already packed my bags and made sure my passport is current.
I’ve added parts 3-5 to Faith Conquers All
I’ve posted the prelude and chapters 1 and 2 to the new story described in the previous post.
It’s another Mother Earth spinoff placed 1500 years in the future. The humans living in Europe are now exploring their world, seeking treasure and fortune. Now the clans of Mother Earth have to deal with these primitives–unlike on old Earth where the Native Americans were devastated by European diseases and by the sheer numbers of those who settled on their shores. For now, the story is only being posted on my Yahoo mailing list but I will post it on my website once I have time to edit for typos. I am working graveyards and my sleeping habits are all shot to hell. F
I ended up wiping my computer completely and now slowly getting everything loaded back onto it. For some reason I can’t import my website so you all know what that means–starting over…AGAIN *screaming into the night*
My ancient computer is on its last legs and crashed. Although I can still get online I can’t do much else. Any program connected to Windows seems to be not working–including my website program, the ability to reinstall MS products, restore, or use the recovery disk. As long as this silly dinosaur will allow me to get online I will use a free website with a website builder to post new updates to my stories. It’s located at: sdfiction updates.
I also added parts 7 and 8 to Generations: Recognition.
I finished putting up all of the Mother Earth series and even managed to fix a few of the typos as I went along. There’s 18 stories so far to the series and most likely will keep going for some time. Funny, how a short story suddenly grew like this.
As the ecomomy and such worsens,, I can only wish in my dreams that I could join such a place, away from all the daily annoyances and rude people. Perhaps my Muse took off with this concept because she knows how I long for such a friendly and welcoming home–and maybe a chance at romance.
I’ve gotten all of the Mother earth Series back up until First Comes Love and still plugging away. I decided today that my Muse is long winded and enjoys skipping over 2-letter words. If you see any major flubs or overlapping, let me know.
We’ve gotten another 5 inches or so of wet, heavy snow. I sure miss the good old days when kids knocked on your door and offered to shovel your sidewalk for a small fee. My aching back *moan*
